Designed in super soft organic GOTS certified cottons, these designs are luxurious and big on adult style. With a keen focus on sustainability, Huxbaby’s motto of “less is more” allows parents the freedom to buy once and buy well through its gender-neutral options. Pieces are made incorporating circular design principles: for extended product life, minimal waste, repair, and recyclability. Many of the reversible pieces are also 2-in-1.
Founded in 2014 in Melbourne with the vision of creating high quality but minimalist childrenswear with a grown-up level of style, the family run business has rapidly expanded in just a few short years. Its minimalisticethos is based on paring back to essentials to allow refinement through form and function, so that kids can still be kids (albeit stylish ones!).
Over 70% of Huxbaby clothing is made from GOTS certified cotton or cotton blends – it also tries to incorporate as much organic or recycled materials as possible. The aim is to create considered pieces without compromising the planet or the people who manufacture them. To do this the company is committed to ethical and sustainable production and aims to minimise its environmental footprint. Huxbaby is labour compliant, and its suppliers meet third party certified standards to increase accountability and transparency in its supply chain.
