How to Shop Small & Local - Baby & Kids Wholesale Stockists

I love getting to know my customers & forming relationships with them over time. Many of my customers are small business owners based in their own suburb & community.

I think we all know someone who’s business has been directly affected by the Covid-19 virus. As restrictions lift, it’s a great time to start thinking about how you can help those businesses in your community that need your support, to get back on their feet. One of those ways is super easy – shop local.

Here's 3 good reasons to shop local

Local independent stores often stock items made locally that aren’t available in mainstream stores. Buying a product by a local designer & you’re supporting not only the shop you’ve bought it from & the artisan who create it, but you’re also buying something unique & special. Small shops are more willing to stock interesting & special items for their customers. And who doesn’t want to buy something that you won’t find everywhere else!

Local stores often give back to the community. With donated products for school raffles, footy club bbqs & bowling club quiz nights, these local businesses endlessly support their local community. What a shame if we lose their generous support just because we didn’t support them in return!

You’re supporting local jobs. A local shop is often owned, run & worked in by a local. The staff in a small local store are passionate about their business & will have a great handle on their stock. You’ll get all your questions answered like, which swaddles are made sustainably, the bestselling sleeping bags, or advise you on the perfect gift for your nephew’s second birthday! More importantly you’ll get to create a relationship with that store to benefit both of you moving forward.

By shopping at a local store you’re supporting your local economy & the employment of local people. But most of all, it will make you feel good!
