Terms to Know

Made to order – This is most commonly referred to as Indent Ordering
Indent ordering generally covers the fashion brands that Knee High Agencies represents.
All brands have different open and close dates for indent ordering - Your selections will be required within these dates (indent selling times) that we advise.
As a general rule, indent selling times are as follows (seasonally)

  • Summer indents are conducted in February

  • Winter indents are conducted in August

Stock is then made to order and shipped to your store approximately 6 months later.
In general, you cannot re-order indent order lines, however, we can always check available stock on hand throughout the season as required.

Stock Lines – brands that have stock available for immediate delivery, year round.
Stock Lines Ordering
Stock line ordering is very simple - you can schedule a time to view samples of the brands that Knee High Agencies represents in their showroom at Osborne Park, as required, any time throughout the year.
Orders can be placed immediately on the day, or you can take time to digest the information and process in your own time when you are ready.
You can then re-order stock lines as required (within brand T&C’s)

FAQs

  • This all depends on what is available for you to purchase. We will need to check if there is another store in your locality that already stocks your desired brands.

Exclusivity is offered by some brands to B&M retailers, however, you may need to meet requirements. (We will discuss this in detail as needed, as all brands are different)

  • Yes, however, not all brands supply web based retail outlets – these options can be discussed. *Please note - None of our manufacturers will supply EBay stores, Party Plan or outlets selling at markets.

  • Stock lines – It is recommended to place your orders 4 weeks prior to your store opening to allow time for processing and delivery.

Indent Ranges – Ordering can only take place during our selling seasons, which are approximately 6 months prior to them being manufactured and shipped to your store.

We do recommend that you indent your ranges during the selling seasons to avoid missing out, however, if you happen to open mid-season, we can work with you to supply from available stock on hand.

  • Each company has different T&C's - we will talk you through the process.

Some fashion brands require a deposit at the time the order is placed, prior to stock leaving the warehouse. Deposits can vary from 10-50%. You will be notified of this when you place your order.

New Retailers are Pro forma (pre paid)

Some brands are always pro forma, and some brands may offer terms. If terms are offered, it’s at the brands discretion once your account is established.

  • Yes, most manufacturers won’t supply you with your order unless you complete these forms. This is to confirm you are a legitimate retailer and allows all information required to be gathered so that we can all work together.

You will also be required to sign manufacturers order confirmation / cancellation policy at the time of ordering. This is your commitment to the stock you have order.

  • When you make an appointment to view collections, your store, demographic, budgets and options available to order will be discussed. This allows us to understand you and your stores needs, so we can then advise the top selling items for the brands available to you.

You will then be personally taken through the range(s). This involves showing you the stories from each range and how they mix & match, working back with other stories, and advising what has been the most popular combination. We will also help guide you with size, range and product suitability for your store.

Orders are usually placed on the day of your showing, and a copy is emailed to you after your appointment. We encourage you to place your order on the day, and for you to take your order copy away to review. Any changes need to be made in writing 3 days before the close date of the brand you are ordering.

Some manufacturers charge cancellation fees if changes are made outside of these terms or if you cancel your order after the close date. These fees are usually between 15-50% and will be advised at the time of placing your order.

You will be supplied with an order confirmation via email.

  • Knee High Agencies can only sell to retailers based in Western Australia, so if you are outside of this area, you will need to contact your local agent or the brand directly.
